As a new hire, you’ll have approximately 31 days to enroll in your benefits (see your enrollment materials for your specific deadline). You may enroll as soon as Alight and/or HealthEquity have received and processed your eligibility file. The timing for these files is slightly different, so you may be set up in one system before the other.
Each fall, you will have an opportunity to enroll in or change your benefits. The elections you make will become effective on the next January 1st.
If you don’t actively enroll in coverage during your initial enrollment period, you will not have healthcare coverage (including medical, dental and vision) for the remainder of the year.
If you don't actively make elections during the annual enrollment period, your current coverage generally continues with the exception of your Health Care and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account elections.
