The provider credentialing process is the foundation for Caterpillar initiatives related to the review of utilization practices, quality, efficiency and cost of care - ensuring our members continue to receive best-in-class care.

The Caterpillar Healthcare PPO NetWork requires credentialing for these types of providers:

• Physicians (MD, DO, DPM)
  
• Advanced Practice Nurse, Full Practice Authority Nurse, Midwife
  
• Therapy Providers (Physical, Occupational and Speech) 
  
• Mental Health Providers (Psychologist, LCPC, LCSW)
  
• Physician Assistant
• Chiropractor
• Optometrist
