Health Risk Assessment

As of Jan. 1, 2016, we no longer use ActiveHealth for wellness resources and completion of the Health Risk Assessment. Instead, we're using our health plan administrators (Blue Cross Blue Shield and UnitedHealthcare)

Due to existing negotiated agreements, the following employees/retirees (and their enrolled spouses/same-sex domestic partners) enrolled in a Caterpillar-sponsored heath plan must complete the Health Risk Assessment in the first quarter (Jan. 1 - Mar. 31) and third quarter (July 1 - Sept. 30) to qualify for the $75 per month/per person premium reduction:

  • Active employees covered by the UAW Central Labor Agreement
  • Pre-65 non-Medicare medical retirees covered by the UAW Central Labor Agreement

(Please note: This requirement exists for the remainder of 2017. However, in 2018, the above employees/retirees will no longer have to complete the HRA to qualify for the premium reduction.)

Other employees/retirees (and their spouse/partner, if applicable) enrolled in a Caterpillar-sponsored health plan who aren't listed above don’t have to complete the HRA to qualify for the premium reduction. However, we still encourage everyone to complete it, because your health and well-being are important, and it provides useful data we can use to improve wellness benefits.
