We are pleased to announce that the transition of Caterpillar Inc.’s non-qualified deferred compensation plans to Newport Group is complete, and you now have access to your account online at newportgroup.com.
This secure website allows you to manage your account, perform transactions, and obtain investment information. You can use the ‘statement on demand’ feature to create a customized statement at any time. The website offers navigation to view multiple account balances and generate cash flow payout projections.
Here’s how to get started.
If this is not your first time logging in to newportgroup.com (for instance, you have a balance from another employer administered by Newport Group), please use your existing login credentials to login.
If you are logging on to newportgroup.com for the first time, you will enter:
· your initial User ID (CAT + FirstName + LastName; for example, if your name is John Doe, you will enter CATJohnDoe)
· your initial Password (the default is the last four digits of your Social Security number)
After you log on, you will be prompted to change your logon information and answer some important questions for ongoing security purposes.
