UnitedHealthcare Members:
UnitedHealthcare remains committed to supporting its customers and their employees’ emotional well-being in times of tragedy. Resources and support are available to help individuals directly and indirectly impacted by the Hurricane Helene.
We have opened a public support line for the next two (2) calendar weeks commencing September 25th at 866-447-3573. We invite your employees to access the support line for any emotional and/or practical support they may need arising out of this event – it’s completely confidential.
Another resource is Optumwellbeing.com, a public website where your employees can access resources to help them navigate difficult situations. The Critical Support Center section of the website includes a library of content for individuals to access during a critical event, grouped by topic (trauma, natural disasters, etc.).
Outside of our offerings, there are public regional and national resources that help provide aid, such as food pantries, clothing closets, emergency shelters, and agencies offering financial assistance. I’ve attached a list of available regional resources to this email and have listed some national resources below.
